A story about toys that take over facebook in 3D

Toy Story 3
Synopsis: Andy is all grown up and heading off to college; his bags are packed and now he just has to decide what to do with all of his old toys. When his mother mistakenly takes the bag full of toys to the trash -- Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang wind up at a daycare where a pink bear that smells like strawberries invites them in with a big bear hug. Andy's toys soon discover that things are a little bit more stormy at Sunnyside daycare than they initially seem. Can the toys make it out and back to Andy before he leaves for college? This is the heartwarming conclusion to the beautiful story about what your toys are doing when you are not around.
Review: I have always been a huge fan of Disney Pixar films and this movie is no exception. It is funny, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and just all around enjoyable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with four twenty-something girls watching this movie on a Sunday afternoon. And certainly nothing wrong with the gallons of tears we all shed. This movie was cleverly geared towards an older audience--to those people who grew up with Toy Story. Though absolutely suitable for younger children, I think it hits at a very special place for us who loved to watch these movies when we were young and now are all grown up.
Nominations:
Best Picture
Animated feature film
Sound editing
Writing (adapted screenplay)
Predictions:
Animated feature film

The Social Network

Synopsis: This is the semi true story of how facebook received its start. We follow Mark Zuckerberg as he goes to trial for two alleged wrongdoings, meanwhile taking a look back at how facebook began.

Review: In a day and age where everything seems to have a facebook account, it is fascinating to see just where and how this incredible network was created. I think the best part of this film is the writing. It is witty, quick paced, and altogether clever. We all know about facebook, but it is the way the characters tell us about it that makes it so entertaining. On top of that, it is a very well made film.
Nominations:
Best Picture
Actor in a leading role: Jesse Eisenberg
Cinematography
Directing: David Fincher
Film Editing
Music (original score): Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross
Sound Mixing
Writing (adapted screenplay)
Predictions:
I think this movie is going to win for Best Picture. Because of its relevancy to our current society, I think this movie stands out amongst the crowd. Also predict wins for Music (original score) and Writing.
