Breakfast at Tiffany's
East of Eden
(book and movie combo)

The thing I love most about The Academy Awards is that it seems to represent a celebration of old Hollywood glamour. It isn't about the flashiest 3-D movie getting acknowledged. It is about the understated and very real films that represent a unique part of the film industry. Last year's winner, the Artist, was no exception.

Really, I just love old Hollywood. The poise and glamour that seemed to radiate off the screen...

To me old Hollywood is best portrayed by Audrey Hepburn and James Dean. Two actors that I think epitomize that era. Audrey Hepburn won the award for best actress in 1957 for her role in Roman Holiday. James Dean was given a posthumous nomination for his role in Giant.

Both of them portrayed famous roles in the film adaptations of some incredible books.

Audrey Hepburn won our hearts as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's the movie version of Truman Capote's book by the same name.

And James Dean won my heart with his portrayal of the troubled soul, Cal Trask in the film East of Eden. A movie that represents just a small part of my favorite book, East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

So, in this wonderful award season. I am giving away a little award of my own. Please enter below for a chance to win a combo pack of your choice between Breakfast at Tiffany's (book and movie) or East of Eden (book and movie).
